Here's what it takes to make a laser light show happen; with a general guideline for pricing and physical necessities such as electrical power and water. The World's Largest Video GameNo kidding. Imagine playing the classic videogame "Asteroids" projected on the side of, say, the Hilton Hotel Tower, as hundreds of spectators cheer you on. Members of the audience are players, who interact with the computer controlling the laser projection via a joystick. The laser images can be projected to be as large as the projection surface will allow, simulating an enormous video game. Lasershow ProducerOur original system of integrated hardware and software designed to produce effective laser shows. Lasergraph D.S.P. ComputerWe use and distribute this new, state of the art system. It is a unique, dedicated laser show computer and software system, designed from the ground up to program stereoscopic 3D laser shows in full color (the TriMagic system), as well as traditional laser animation. It features true CAD database manipulation with clipping and hidden line elimination, all done in real time with full MIDI and DMX interface. The Lasergraph DSP allows much easier production of 3D effects than any other available system, since the programmer need only add a single command to generate stereo effects and it uses a novel interactive programming method that is easy to learn. The audience wears special, polarized glasses to view the TriMagic 3D effects. Pangolin SoftwareLASER SPECTACLES, INC. has utilized Pangolin Laser Software since 1988, and has extensive experience in using it to develop creative product applications. We use and distribute Pangolin Laser Software products for the Amiga and the PC, which provide powerful, affordable control of laser show projection systems. Four levels of software are available, to fit any budget. Lasershow Designer Professional for Windows is the top level, used to make many of our products into reality, because of its accessible programming and flexible structure. The Laser HarpA musical instrument of the future, conceived and successfully created by Dan Millikan and Tim Walsh of San Marcos, Texas. It looks and sounds like something from science fiction, but it's very real and very beautiful! Laser FountainsWe are collaborating with The Fountain People, Inc, a leading water fountain company based in San Marcos, to create spectacular effects, using water fountains and mist to reflect the laser beams. The dazzling effects resulting from this are even better than those possible with theatrical smoke or fog, and display a greater variety. |
