Brooks City-Base Show was a great success! This show was for "Aerospace Career Day" and sponsored by the Dept. of Directed Energy Research - the laser people for the Air Force in San Antonio, TX! So Laser Spectacles got to do a more local gig, for real laser people! The show was held inside the gym at the old Brooks Air Force Base, now called Brooks City-Base. It was a a working gym, perfect for lasers - all white ceilings and walls. We did shows each morning for 3 days - they bused in high school ROTC students for a day of activities and information. We used 2 3 Watt micrYAG lasers, and one 6 Watt Copper Vapor laser to make this show. Setup took about 6 hours. Click on the image to see it big!
